OPPO yesterday not only announced the Reno 6 line of smartphones and the Enco Free 2 TWS headphones, but also announced that it is working on a successor to the OPPO Watch smartwatch .

The novelty, of course, will be called OPPO Watch 2. According to the manufacturer, the watch will hit the market in two versions: the first one will have a round screen, and the second one will have a rectangular one. In addition, the device will boast an additional Apollo 4s chip. He, according to the company, will become more energy efficient than the previous version. In theory, the new model will live longer than the first generation.
OPPO did not disclose other details about the new product, but thanks to XDA-Developers, it is known that OPPO Watch 2 will still receive a Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor, 16 GB drive, 42/46 mm cases with several colors and support for eSIM.
In China, the watch will enter the market with a proprietary operating system, and in the global market – with Wear OS on board.
When to expect?
The presentation of OPPO Watch 2 should take place in the second half of the year.
