Xiaomi’s newest Mi home in China in the city of Shenyang has been formally opened. This opening of the store represents a landmark for the company, as it is 5000th Mi Home. The fact that it is the first to display a new Xiaomi logo is another curious fact about this new store.
The Mi Home will accommodate many new products including the newly launched Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and Redmi K40. The company promises some discounts for patrons as part of activities to mark the shop’s opening.
A crucial part of the growth of the Xiaomi brand was the Mi Home flagship store. The brand’s revival since 2015 can be attributed to the effort to make Mi Home in many cities that took its brands closer to the fans.
However, a rapid improvement in the store’s experience is surprising. By 2017, Xiaomi had just 100 mi stores in China and plans to raise the total to 200. In December 2020, Mi Home’s 1000th store in China was announced.
We can only be imagined how the company has driven it to 5000 stores in such a short period of time. In the last three months, 4000 stores have been opened. In January this year, in China the brand has officially opened 1,000 Mi Homes.
