5th Generation iPad Air Rumored to Launch this spring 2022

According to Japanese blog Mac Otakara, Apple is planning to release a 5th generation iPad Air with features similar to the sixth-generation iPad mini, including an A15 Bionic chip, 12 MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage support, 5G for cellular models, and Quad-LED True Tone flash.

As per the report, the next iPad Air might be introduced alongside the 3rd generation iPhone SE in spring 2022, citing reputable sources in China.

According to the rumour, the next iPad Air would feature the same general appearance as the existing device, with a single-lens back camera.

The present iPad Air, which was released in October 2020, has a 10.9-inch display with slim bezels, a Touch ID power button, and a USB-C connection, and comes in Space Gray, Silver, Green, Rose Gold, and Sky Blue colour options.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s first product event of the year would most likely take place in March or April, therefore the next iPad Air and iPhone SE models might be unveiled at that presentation.

The fourth-generation iPad Air will include an USB-C port, while the next 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be 0.5mm thicker to accommodate a mini-LED display, as Mac Otakara precisely suspected.

On the other side, the website has made certain incorrect promises, such as claiming that the redesigned AirPods Pro will be available in April 2021.
