Back in 2019, Amazon introduced its first wireless earbuds, the Echo Buds, and now it’s finally time for their successors, the Amazon Echo Buds 2.
The new model is 20% smaller and has an improved active noise cancellation system. Whereas the previous generation model used Bose technology, Amazon has now applied its own design. According to the manufacturer, it eliminates twice as much noise by using microphones outside and inside the headphones.
There is still support for the virtual assistant Alexa, with which you can use your voice to control the built-in functions (the same noise cancellation) and music playback, make calls, check the calendar, and set reminders. In addition, before the end of the year, they promise to add a VIP Filter function from Echo Frames, which allows you to select a specific notification, filtering out the rest. This notification will play in your ear on a double-tap or can be closed with one tap.
The battery life of the Echo Buds 2 is 5 hours, but the charging case extends it to 15 hours. A 15-minute quick charge gives you 2 more hours of music playback.
Amazon Echo Buds 2 Price
The new Echo Buds are priced at $120 for the standard version and $140 for the wireless charging model. By the way, the previous model cost $130 at the start.
