Apple may launch the third generation of AirPods in a few weeks

Apple is preparing to launch a new HiFi-grade Apple Music service in the “coming weeks”, which will be released at the same time as the third-generation AirPods.

It is reported that the new version of Apple Music will provide a high-fidelity music streaming service at a monthly fee of $9.99, which is the same as the current personal version. The service may be announced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

With regard to AirPods, due to the decline in sales, Apple is cutting the production of the previous generation of AirPods. It is not yet known how it will affect the third generation of AirPods. According to previous information circulating on the Internet, the third-generation AirPods is expected to adopt a design similar to AirPods Pro, but will not have certain “Pro” features, such as active noise reduction.

The current AirPods listening to HiFi music may “experience dimensionality reduction”. Therefore, in addition to the major changes in appearance, whether the third-generation AirPods can bring about an improvement in sound quality is also worth looking forward to.
