Apple Watch helped a man prevent heart failure: Forum user Reddit talked about how Apple Watch made him call an ambulance.
According to the author of the post, he rested and watched TV when his watch reported a strange rapid heart rate. The man immediately called an ambulance, and when the doctors arrived, they took him to the hospital, finding serious problems. After examination, supraventricular tachycardia was diagnosed. The man also said in his post:
“I felt totally fine before everything happened, and then notifications, and then BAM, everything goes nuts.”
If he hadn’t asked for help on time, it could have ended differently. Now the man has already been discharged from the hospital and prescribed treatment by a cardiologist.
Earlier Apple Watch had already saved the life of a Norwegian retiree. Then the system itself called an ambulance.
