Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) wrote another note for investors, in which he shared details about the first folding smartphone of Apple.
So, according to new analyst forecasts, Apple will release its folding iPhone in 2023. Kuo attributes the novelty to an 8-inch flexible OLED display with QHD+resolution.
The exclusive supplier of screens for the device will be the company SDC. To increase the durability of the panel, it is planned to use a sensor with a silver nanowire. What this means is still unclear.
By the way, Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that in 2023, Apple will be able to ship from 15 to 20 million of these iPhones. That is, the analyst believes that the company with the release of the new product will become the largest supplier of folding devices on the market.
