The first sale will take place on March 7th.
Asus 8z (Zenfone 8) Specifications
The ASUS 8Z has a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR playback, and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The screen is further protected from scratches by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus coating on the front.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with a clock speed of up to 2.84 GHz and an Adreno 660 GPU. The phone has an LPDDR5 RAM of 8 GB and a UFS 3.1 storage of 128 GB. For some users, that amount of capacity may be insufficient.
The ASUS 8Z has a dual-camera setup in terms of photography. The primary camera is a 64mp Sony IMX686 with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, with OIS.
The secondary camera is a Sony IMX363 lens with a resolution of 12 MP. A 12 MP Sony IMX 663 camera with dual-pixel focusing is mounted on the front.
The battery isn’t really remarkable by 2022 standards because to its compact size. It only has a 4,000 mAh battery that charges at 30 watts.
In addition, the phone has a 3.5 mm headphone port, which is uncommon in the top market.
It also has twin stereo speakers with Dirac and Hi-Res audio compatibility. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner thanks to its AMOLED display.
The software is most likely a big flaw. The phone comes with Android 11 out of the box in India, but we anticipate it to get Android 12 soon.
