Bang & Olufsen Beosound Emerge: Smart Book Speaker with Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast and Spotify Connect for $699

Danish company Bang & Olufsen has announced its new wireless speaker Beosound Emerge.

What is known?

The novelty boasts an unusual appearance that resembles a hardback book. The device has two versions. The first received a black color, a polymer body, and an anodized aluminum base with mother-of-pearl treatment. The second, in turn, has a gold color, as well as a side panel made of oak and Kvadrat textiles.

As for the filling, the Beosound Emerge is equipped with a 4 “woofer, 1.45” midrange, and 0.6 “tweeter. Each driver has its own amplifier. In the case of the low-frequency one, its power is 60 W, and the other two have 30 W. The novelty works on Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

In addition, the device has Ethernet and a USB-C charging port. The speaker supports Google Assistant, as well as Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, and Spotify Connect for fast audio streaming.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Emerge Price and when to expect?

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Emerge is now on sale. For the Black Anthracite version, they ask for $ 699, and for the Gold Tone with an oak panel – $ 899. A little later, a model without a built-in Google Assistant will appear on the market.
