We already know that this year Samsung will continue the Fan Edition (FE) series and release the successor to the popular Galaxy S20 FE – the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. The new product appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database, as a result of which some of its characteristics were confirmed.
What to expect?
So, on the Geekbench website, 6 GB of RAM, the Android 11 operating system and the top-end Snapdragon 888 processor are listed, like the older models of the Galaxy S21 family. Whether there will be a version with a proprietary Exynos (most likely, Exynos 2100) is still unclear.
There are also likely to be other modifications with more memory.
Recall, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is credited with an Infinity-O display with a round hole for the front camera, a main camera design like the Galaxy S21, a flat 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, and IP68 water and dust protection. The new model should be presented in the summer — most likely, in August.
