At the end of March, Xiaomi introduced its first folding smartphone Mi Mix Fold, and recently launched the first flash sale in China. And it showed that there is a demand for the gadget.
The first batch of Mix Ford in China sold out in just one minute. As a result, the company received revenue of 400 million yuan, which is more than $61 million.
The exact number of smartphones sold by Xiaomi does not specify, but simple math shows that it is from 30 to 40 thousand gadgets, or about 500 units per second. This is based on the three available versions of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold: 12/256 GB for 9,999 yuan ($1,530), 12/512 GB for 10,999 yuan ($1,680), and 16/512 GB for 12,999 yuan ($2,000).
Recall that all versions are equipped with two AMOLED displays, a Snapdragon 888 processor and a main camera with a liquid lens-for the first time in a smartphone.
It is not yet known when the flagship will go on sale again or when it will enter the global market.
