Google Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro Launch Date Announced

The renders for the Pixel 6 series were released much before of the formal announcement. At the event, Google will also unveil Android 12 for Pixel devices, in addition to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have finally been given a release date by Google. The corporation has announced that the launch will take place on October 19th. At 10 a.m. PT, the event will begin. Users in India will be able to watch the live launch starting at 10:30 p.m.

Several details about the next Pixel devices have already been revealed by Google. The new processor that powers the smartphones will be the most noticeable improvement. The Tensor chipset will be used in the next Google Pixel 6 devices.

The announcement for the event was made via Google’s official Twitter account. Only the two devices will be shown during the Google Pixel Fall Launch. “On October 19, we’re officially introducing you to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro—the completely reimagined Google phones. Powered by Tensor, Google’s first custom mobile chip, they’re fast, smart and secure. And they adapt to you. #Pixel6Launch.” the company stated in a tweet.

With its latest devices, Google is following Apple’s lead. Google has previously relied entirely on Qualcomm for its Snapdragon chipsets, but with the introduction of the Tensor chipset, the firm intends to become more self-sufficient in the manufacturing process. The corporation will also have the opportunity to improve operating system and hardware optimization.

Google is also likely to reveal another product, maybe in the foldable phone category. However, there isn’t much information available regarding the item. At the event, the tech giant will also unveil Android 12 for Pixel devices.
