HiSense has introduced an unusual gadget that at first glance resembles a smartphone, but in fact is a hybrid of an e-book and a music player.
What it is?
The device features a 5.84-inch black-and-white E Ink screen with a light sensor to automatically adjust the brightness level and color temperature. By the way, 2048 brightness levels and 36 color temperature levels are claimed.
The case of the gadget is metal with a thickness of 8 mm, and the weight is about 155 g — that is, like a regular smartphone. It runs on Touch OS based on Android 11 and supports fast charging of the 50W battery.
For listening to music, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a Hi-Fi audio system, an ESS ES9038 digital-to-analog converter and an ES9603 amplifier. Provides support for audio in the 384 kHz/32-bit format.
