In the Chinese smartphone market, HONOR has already surpassed Xiaomi and Apple to achieve third place. In the next weeks, the company is scheduled to roll out its new items in a few select worldwide regions. One of these gadgets might be the HONOR Pad Z3 tablet.
Evan Blass (@evleaks), a reputable leaker, has provided a render of the HONOR Pad Z3 tablet. Regrettably, the tipster makes no mention of this product.
The image depicts a low-cost tablet with large bezels on all sides. On the right side, we can see power and volume buttons, as well as a front-facing camera on the right-side bezel rather than the top.
This tablet is believed to target a global market. We believe it is a rebranded HONOR Pad 7 that became official in China earlier this year, based on the image.
If that really is the case, the forthcoming HONOR Pad Z3 should have a 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC.
The Pad 7 is available in China with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pad Z3 may come in foreign markets with varied storage options depending on the countries where it will be marketed.
A 5MP rear camera with autofocus and a 2MP front-facing camera with fixed focus will also be included in the tablet. It may have dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and a USB Type-C connector for connection.
Other features to expect include twin stereo speakers, HONOR Histen 7.0 compatibility, Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 10, a MicroSD card slot, and a 5,100mAh battery.
It is currently unknown when the HONOR Pad Z3 will be released. The device looks to be just days away from introduction, based on the high-quality press render.
