Huawei held an event in China today, where it showed off its new fully wireless FreeBuds 4 headphones.
What is known?
This is the successor to the FreeBuds 3 released in 2019. The headphones still have an in-ear design, but the manufacturer claims that it has been finalized. The new product has become more compact by 6.3%, as well as 20.8% lighter. In theory, FreeBuds 4 should sit more comfortably in your ears.
14.3 mm drivers are responsible for the sound in the headphones. The model also received two microphones, an improved active noise reduction system that silences sounds up to 25 dB. Moreover, the ANC is adaptive here. It adjusts depending on the noise level around it. FreeBuds 4 also boasts a sound delay of up to 90 ms and a reduced charging case. At the same time, the autonomy, according to Huawei, has not changed. The headphones live from a single charge for up to 4 hours. With the case, this figure increases to 22 hours. The case is charged via a USB-C port or via Qi wireless technology.
The novelty connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.2.
