Huawei announced EMUI 9.1 for 12 smartphones: Last week, Huawei released a list of devices that will receive an EMUI 9.1 shell. And today, the manufacturer launched beta testing for 12 smartphones.

Who got?

Update released for Huawei P10, Huawei P20 Lite, Huawei Nova 3, Huawei Nova 3i, Huawei Nova 2, Honor View 20 (Magic UI 2.1), Honor Magic 2 (Magic UI 2.1), Honor 7X, Honor 8X, Honor 9, Honor 10 and Honor Play. So far it is available only for Chinese users. A global stable version of the software will appear later.

What’s new?

The firmware added a lot of useful changes. For example, new ringtones, a redesigned interface and application shortcuts, an updated file system, as well as a Game Turbo 3.0 graphics accelerator.

In addition, the developers have installed the program Digital Balance. This is an analog of Google Digital Wellbeing, which allows you to track the time spent on applications and the smartphone as a whole.
