Huawei P30 and P30 Pro did not have time to go on sale, and Huawei is already working on the following flagship Mate 30.
What to expect?
At a press briefing in Malaysia, Huawei representatives admitted that the fall flagships are already being tested. According to tradition, there will be three models: Mate 30 Lite, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, which will replace the Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
Older Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro should get a not yet announced Kirin 985 chip. In the Lite version, the processor will be simpler: most likely, the Kirin 710 or a similar mid-level chip.
It is expected that the Balong 5000 5G modem will be paired with Kirin 985, which means that Mate 30 will support fifth-generation networks. The appearance of Pentax cameras with five modules is also possible.
When to expect?
In Huawei, it seems, while they themselves do not know when the smartphones will be ready, but promise an announcement in September or October.
