Huawei is preparing the world’s first smart TV with 5G network support and 8K screen resolution

Huawei smart tv 5G: There was already information out there, that Huawei is going to release its own smart TVs. Now the publication Asia Nikkei confirmed this information and shared new details.

What told?

According to a source close to the plans of the Chinese manufacturer, one of several models of smart TVs will receive a display with a resolution of 8K (16 times more dots per inch than with Full HD).

In addition, a feature of the device will be the fifth generation network support. It is implemented using the Balong 5000 corporate modem. By the way, it is installed in the flagship Huawei Mate 20 X 5G and in the folding Mate X device.

The novelty will become not just a TV, but the control center of a “smart” home. Thanks to high-speed Internet, other devices can connect to it.

Presumably, Huawei will release such a smart TV this year. His price tag will clearly be “space”. For comparison, TVs with a resolution of 8K, but without 5G are now in the range from 5 to 120 thousand dollars.
