Huawei postponed the presentation of the flagship P50 to June

Last year, the flagship Huawei P40 family debuted at the end of March, but this year the P50 line is already far behind schedule. The exact date of the announcement is still unknown, but Chinese insiders have reported new details, which, however, have not been officially confirmed.

There were rumors in the network that the Huawei P50 flagships will be shown at the end of March, then there was information that the presentation was postponed to mid-April. But these deadlines have passed — and there are still no new smartphones.

According to new data, it is not worth waiting for the flagships in the near future, since their premiere was postponed to June. Apparently, this is due to US sanctions and a shortage of processors.

But, according to insider information, in May, another event will take place, at which Huawei should present the FreeBuds 4 wireless headphones, a new computer device and a children’s smart watch.

In addition, the MatePad Pro 2 tablet will be announced in the coming months. According to one information, it will be launched together with the P50 and will go on sale only in September. On the other hand, the tablet will be presented on April 20, although so far there have been no teasers or invitations. Recall that on the same day, Apple planned its presentation.

By the way, according to rumors, the new flagship family will have three models. The Huawei P50 will replace the Lite version, so it will come with a simplified platform — the Kirin 9000E. The base model of the series will be Huawei P50 Pro, and the top model will be Huawei P50 Pro+. The devices are credited with Kirin 9000 chips.
