Huawei recently unveiled a pair of new smartwatches Watch GT 3, as well as a new set of wireless earbuds FreeBuds Lipstick, to coincide with the nova 9’s European debut.
The Huawei Watch GT3 is offered in 42mm and 46mm sizes, and the two models have basically tweaked versions of the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. The most obvious omission on the new models is the loss of an eSIM, however, you can still receive calls from your linked phone via Bluetooth.
The 42mm model has a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, whilst the larger 46mm model has a 1.46-inch AMOLED display. Huawei’s Healthy Living Clover, which provides you daily challenges for exercise, sleep, and walking and fills up during the day like Apple Watch’s Rings, is one of the most notable new features on the GT 3 series.
Huawei’s fifth-generation TruSeen optical heart rate sensor, on-device SpO2 readings, and monitoring for over 100 sports modes are also included.
Both GT 3 watches include 4GB of onboard storage, are water-resistant to 5ATM, and work with Android and iOS phones. The smaller 42mm model’s battery life is rated at seven days, while the bigger model’s battery life is listed at 14 days.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 42mm costs €329, while the Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm costs €349. Pre-orders are already available, and customers who place an order will receive a free set of Huawei FreeBuds 4i wireless earbuds. On November 10th, official sales start.
FreeBuds Lipstick is similar to FreeBuds 4, but they come in a distinctive red color and, as the name indicates, come with a lipstick-shaped stainless steel charging case.
They’ll cost you at least €249 and come in limited quantities.
