
Huawei Technologies will show its first car at the Shanghai Auto Show, which will be held from April 16 to 25.
What is known?
The company developed the car together with the Chinese car manufacturer Dongfeng Motor. The novelty will support fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks and Huawei cloud storage.
The cars are also equipped with an autopilot, and the built-in GPS system will be able to pave the most suitable route and find answers to the owner’s requests on the Internet.
Earlier it was reported that Huawei and Dongfeng had struck a deal with local authorities in Xianyang to develop cloud platforms, test smart cars and implement 5G. The amount of the transaction amounted to 446 million dollars.
Other characteristics of the new machines are not disclosed.
