Instagram and Facebook will no longer support Windows 10 Mobile. Owners of Windows Phone will not be able to log in to Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger through applications soon. They will be closed on April 30, 2019.
Windows Phone users started to pop up a window with a suggestion to go to the browser when entering the social network. Interestingly, for the PC version of Windows 10, they will still work, although they are in the same store.
In order not to enter the browser every time, you can add a link to your desktop. Or use alternatives: Winsta, 6tag for Instagram and SlimSocial for Facebook.
Users should not be very surprised by this news: back in 2016, Microsoft announced the closure of the Windows Phone business. The main third-party applications leave the Microsoft Store since 2015.
