Huawei has started distributing a huge software shell update, the stable version of EMUI 12 – for international models of Huawei Mate 40 Pro and the Huawei P40 series.
Users of Huawei P40 series smartphones with EMUI 11 installed can get an upgrade to EMUI 12 “over the air”. The firmware number is EMUI 12.0.0.218, the size is slightly more than one gigabyte.
A similar update is also available for international Huawei Mate 40 Pro – firmware number 12.0.0.218, size about a gigabyte.
Earlier, EMUI 12 beta testing was conducted among users of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Huawei P40 series.
EMUI 12 offers innovations such as increased security, simplified interaction with laptops and tablets, a new curtain and smooth font adjustment.
