Meizu has held a presentation of its new smartwatch in China.
What is known?
The device was named Meizu Watch and looks very much like an Apple smartwatch. The novelty received a rectangular case made of aluminum and ceramic, silicone straps with special mounts, and a display with 2.5D glass. The screen has an AMOLED matrix, a diagonal of 1.78 ″, a resolution of 448 × 368p, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits.
The Meizu Watch is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM. A special version of FlymeOS is installed out of the box. Yes, the watch does not come with HarmonyOS as previously thought, but it will be able to pair with devices based on it.
Meizu Watch can track different types of activities, as well as sleep, pulse, and SpO2. From the watch, you can control the smartphone camera, as well as the car (open / close). The new product has NFC for contactless payments, eSIM, and a proprietary voice assistant Aicy. The gadget is powered by a 430 mAh battery. It should last up to 36 hours. The battery charges in just 45 minutes.
Price and when to expect?
The Meizu Watch will go on sale in China on June 1. For the novelty, they will ask for 235 US dollars.
