On Thursday, December 9, Motorola will conduct a launch event to unveil its upcoming Snapdragon-8 series chip-powered flagship phones.
This Thursday, the Edge S30 with Snapdragon 888 Plus and the Edge X30 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is likely to be unveiled. Apart from these two phones, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed earlier this month that the business is intending to release a mystery under-screen camera phone.
Lenovo China’s General Manager for Mobile Division said today that a special edition Moto Edge X30 with an under-display camera will be released.
The Moto Edge X30 special edition, according to Chen Jin, will be the first under-screen camera phone based on the Snapdragon 8 architecture.
He’s most likely referring to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which powers the Edge X30’s standard model. He also stated that the front camera on this special edition handset is 60 megapixels. A real-life snapshot of the Edge X30 special edition is shown below.
The Edge X30 special edition, as can be seen, provides a fantastic full-screen experience. The phone’s top and side bezels are relatively tiny, but the chin is rather bulky. The special edition’s exact specifications are yet to be revealed. It’s likely to be identical to the Edge X30’s regular version.
