Nothing ear (1) Launched Officially, Available July 31

UK-based Nothing launched its first product today. The ear (1) is a set of really wireless earbuds with capabilities like active canceling of noise, water resistance and wireless charging.

The Nothing ear (1) equipped with a one-of-a-kind transparent design, with both the charging case and the earbuds made of translucent plastic. The transparent plastic allows you to look through part of the casing and peep inside the wireless earbuds.

The earbuds are lightweight, it weighing only 4.7g each earbud. A single 11.6mm dynamic driver is used in the 0.34cc chamber. Bluetooth 5.2 connection with SBC and AAC codecs is supported by the ear (1). Every earbud is also equipped with touch gestures for playback and ANC modes control.

The earbuds may be paired with iOS and Android smartphones and an app is provided for controlling functions like as touch gestures, ANC, EQ, and software updates.

Two levels of noise cancellation are available in ANC on ear (1). There’s also a transparency option to hear your environment without taking off your earbuds. Alternatively, the ANC can be completely disabled and the battery life can be enjoyed longer.

The Nothing Ear (1) is available in 45 countries, including the USA, Europe, United Kingdom and India at $99/€99,00/INR 5,999. It will be sold in limited quantities on the Nothing’s website starting 31 July and will be broader available from 17 August onwards.

The co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei, with funding by Kevin Lin (Twitch), Tony Fadell (ex-Apple, Nest), Casey Neistat (YouTuber), Steve Huffman (Reddit), and Google Ventures among others, started nothing. Teenage Engineering is a key driving forces and founding partner for the development of ear (1).
