OPPO held an event in China, where it announced a new K-series smartphone — the OPPO K9 5G.
What is known?
The device is the successor to last year’s OPPO K7 5G. It received a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a hole, FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90 Hz image refresh rate. Under the screen of the novelty, a sixth-generation fingerprint scanner was placed.
The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor is responsible for the performance of the OPPO K9 5G. The chip is paired with an interned 5G modem, a cooling system, and 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The drive in the new product can be 128 or 256 GB. If necessary, it can be expanded with a microSD memory card.
The main camera in the smartphone received three sensors at 64 MP + 8 MP (width with a coverage angle of 119°) + 2 MP (macro lens), and the front one sensor at 32 MP. The device is powered by a 4300 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Such a powerful power supply is included. Thanks to it, the device is charged from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes. The device also has a dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C and a headphone jack.
Out of the box, the smartphone has a proprietary ColorOS 11.1 shell based on Android 11.
