Oppo is manufacturing its own first Android tablet, the Oppo Pad. The tablet from Oppo has been rumored since the second half of 2021, but new evidence suggests it will be launched soon.
The tablet recently passed 3C certification, and the unconfirmed tablet (OPD2101) has now been discovered in the database of Geekbench 4.
According to the latest report, it supports 33W fast charging. According to a recent report, the Oppo Pad would be launched in India in early 2022.
Oppo Pad Specifications
In the single-core round of the Geekbench 4 test, the Oppo OPD2101 received 4582 points. The score on the multi-core test, on the other hand, was 12259.
The presence of an octa-core Qualcomm processor with a frequency of up to 3.19 GHz and the codename Kona was also confirmed by Geekbench.
This verifies that the tablet will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU. The tablet will be supported by an Adreno 650 GPU, according to the listing.
For those unfamiliar, the Snapdragon 870 is a 7nm processor that Xiaomi incorporated into its Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. Vivo’s next Vivo Pad tablet is also expected to feature the Snapdragon 870 processor.
The next Oppo tablet showed up on Geekbench with 6GB of RAM, indicating that a 6GB RAM edition exists. However, the manufacturer may also release it in various memory configurations.
It will run Android 11, which is a bit surprising given that Android 12 has been out for nearly 4–5 months.
According to a prior leak, the Oppo tablet would use an LCD display screen. It is supposed to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. For selfies and video calls, the tablet is reported to have an 8MP camera.
Oppo Pad Price & Availability
It will have a 13MP camera on the back. In China, the Oppo Pad is estimated to cost around ¥ 2,000 RMB, which is around $ 314 USD and around ₹ 23,250 INR. The tablet is expected to launch in H1 2022 for the Indian market. The global launch is not yet known.
