Security vulnerabilities in Epic Games Store: Reddit users have found problems with 2FA (two-factor authentication), which may adversely affect the security of the account.
What happened?
The peculiarity of 2FA is that after entering the password a message with an authentication code comes to the mail. Each time you enter your account, the gamer should receive different codes. The Reddit forum posted screenshots confirming the vulnerability of the system.
The forum states that when you try again to enter the site, they received the same code as last time. This means that anyone can hack the page if he has access to the owner’s mail. Epic Games themselves have not yet commented on this. Most likely, this bug will be fixed soon.
