Poco F1 Gets Widevine L1 support with Stable update: POCO F1, despite its software flaws, was one of the most affordable budget phones in 2018, with Snapdragon 845 SoC technology. Nevertheless, the lack of support for Widevine L1 in the finished product lasted for one year, even though the company promised to offer users a solution to this problem.
Well, a stable build with support for Widevine L1 is finally unfolding, as Poco India’s General Manager C Manmohan writes today.
Good News! We have started rolling out a new stable update for all our #POCOF1 fans. Key highlights of this update:
– 4k recording at 60FPS
-Game Turbo Mode
-Widevine L1 support
-Latest security patch

This happened after the beta version was promised, and it was launched for users in January along with a bunch of other important features, such as 960fps slow-motion recording, as well as 4K, 60FPS recording.
It is worth noting that only DRM content for HotStar and Amazon Prime Video is now compatible, and Netflix is still not available in HD, but POCO is working on this in order to provide a solution in the near future.
The update also comes with the latest security patches updates and additional features, such as Game Turbo mode.
This should make the POCO F1 an even more irresistible smartphone after the price reduction received in previous months, as well as discounts for seasonal sales.
POCO F2 has not yet debuted this year, and until that happens, the POCO F1 is one of the best phones on the market with a good price-performance ratio.
