Realme May 4 Launch Event Postponed

Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme India, revealed that the company will host a launch event on May 4 in the latest episode of AskMadhav, a video show in which the company’s CEO addresses hand-picked questions from fans.

This was expected to be the largest launch event of the year, according to Sheth.

Regrettably, in a recent update, Sheth has tweeted that the organization has decided to postpone the event due to the current situation of the nation.

After careful consideration, #realme has decided to postpone the upcoming smartphone and AIoT products’ launch along with anniversary celebrations. In these difficult times, let’s focus on contributing as much as possible. Stay home, Stay strong! We will be back soon.

The company was expected to unveil a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 powered smartphone at this event. Last month, Realme unveiled the Realme GT Neo in China, which was reportedly rebranded and released in India as the Realme X7 Max.

Apart from that, the company was set to unveil the new Realme smart TV, which will include features such as Hands-Free Voice Control and Dolby Vision and Audio Experience.

Sheth recently announced on Twitter that the company is planning to release a new 43-inch 4K TV. Sheth also hinted that the company would release a new 49-inch / 50-inch TV size TV in a retweet to Twitter users.

In the coming weeks, the new date for the launch event is set to be revealed.
