Realme revealed its two new devices — Realme Book and Realme Pad — a few months ago, indicating the brand’s debut into the laptop and tablet market.
The OPPO-backed business has already released the Realme Book (also known as the Realme Book Slim) in a few markets, but the tablet is yet to be released.
The Realme Pad, the brand’s first tablet, will be formally released in the Indian market on September 9th, the company said today.
At 12:30 p.m. local time, the launch will take place.
“Ultra Slim. Real Fun.” is the slogan for the Realme Pad. This suggests that, like the Realme Book laptop, the tablet will have a thin design.
The product’s Flipkart web page indicates that the gadget would be 6.9mm thick, which is thinner than the Apple iPad, which is about 7.5mm thick.
Apart from the thickness, the tablet’s features and specs are yet to be announced by the firm. We’ll have to wait for the formal launch event to find out exactly what the gadget has to offer when it will be available for purchase and at what price.
According to rumors, the Realme Pad will include a 10.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ screen resolution. The gadget may be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, according to a Geekbench listing.
The gadget is expected to include at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with various memory options available. It will have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel back-facing camera with autofocus capability.
The Realme Pad is also rumored to come with quad-speakers and Stylus support. It will most likely feature 4G LTE as well as Wi-Fi for connection. A 7,100mAh battery will power the gadget, and rapid charging technology is expected to be supported.
In addition to the Realme Pad, the firm plans to introduce the Realme 8i and 8s smartphones in India on September 9.
