Xiaomi recently introduced its first gaming smartphone under the Redmi brand in China, and now there is information on the network that the novelty may go beyond the Middle Kingdom.

Popular dataminer kacskrz poked around in the latest MIUI firmware. The code mentions the POCO F3 GT. According to the informant, this is a renamed version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. A smartphone with this name should be presented in India in the near future. Whether it will appear in Europe is still unknown.

Recall that the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition boasts retractable triggers on the ends, an AMOLED display with a picture refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz, as well as a cooling system made of graphene, graphite and a steam chamber.
The device is powered by a new 6-nanometer MediaTek Dimension 1200 processor. The device also has a triple 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP camera with backlit sides, JBL stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support, and a 5000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging.
In China, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition starts at $ 310. How much the new product will cost outside of it is still unknown.
