Remember on April 27th Samsung held an event dedicated to laptops? So it was assumed that it would also show an inexpensive Galaxy Book Go model, but the novelty was presented only now.
What is known?
The leaks were confirmed. The device received three versions: Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G. The first two work under the control of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chip with Adreno 618 graphics. The model with support for the fifth-generation network, in turn, received a more powerful SoC Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2.5. All three versions come with 6/8 GB of RAM and a 64/128 GB SSD. By the way, it can be expanded with a memory card up to 1 TB.
As for the screen, the Galaxy Book Go is equipped with a 14-inch HD IPS panel. The screen is non-touch and has a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The novelty also received a backlit keyboard, a 720p webcam, a fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 1.5W stereo speakers each with Dolby Atmos support, and a Bluetooth 5.1 module. From the ports in the device, there is WLAN, USB 2.0, as well as USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1).
The device is powered by a 42.3 Wh battery. This volume, according to the company, will be enough for up to 18 hours of work. Galaxy Book Go comes pre-installed with Windows 10 or Windows 10 Pro operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go with Wi-Fi will go on sale in the US on June 10 for $ 349. Versions with 4G and 5G will appear in the fall, but how much they will cost is still unknown.
