Galaxy Fit and Fit-e in Portugal for pre-booking: Samsung’s Galaxy Fit tracker are targetted for those who don’t need a complete smartwatch, instead just want basic experience, to be able to track the basic convenience of their workout and heart rate.
Recently, Galaxy Fit-e appeared on Samsung Albania’s website, then the news came of that it will be available to the US in May, and now more details along with the price about Gear Fit and Gear Fit-e unrevealed.
The Gear Fit-e will be equipped with a 0.74-inch monochrome PMOLED display. It will run on the Cortex M0 processor with 4MB of storage and only 128KB of RAM.
The battery cell is of 70mAh and Samsung claims that one charge is enough for 10 days of use. The band weighs only 15 grams and has MIL-STD-810G durability and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
The fitness tracker comes without the option to respond while only having the support for incoming notifications. Gear Fit-e features heart rate tracking, automatic motion detection, and sleep analysis.
The more expensive Gear Fit will feature full-color AMOLED screen of 0.95-inch. It will have the Cortex M33F SoC with 2MB of RAM and 32MB of storage.
Thanks to its accelerometers, gyroscopes, and heart rate sensors, It will feature notification interaction, automatic motion detection as well as sleep, stress and heart rate tracking.
The battery cell is of 120 mAh, which will last for 7 days of autonomous use and support wireless charging. The tracker weighs 23 grams and has the same MIL-STD-810G ruggedness and Bluetooth 5.0 support as the cheaper Fit-e.
Gear Fit-e will be available in variants of white, black and yellow, while Gear Fit will be available in two variants only, that is black and silver. It is expected that two fitness trackers will be available soon to more markets.
