Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2017 release received a new firmware update with a lot of fixes

Samsung has released a new version of the system for budget smartphones four years ago.

What is known?

We are talking about the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 models, which were announced on the market in 2017. The firmware for smartphones came out with the assembly numbers J530LKLU7CUD2 and J730FXWS8CUD1, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) received Google’s April security patch, which closes 23 system vulnerabilities. The Galaxy J7 (2017), in turn, installed a security patch for May. In both devices, Samsung has eliminated up to 30 minor errors. The company does not disclose which ones.

When to expect?

The update for the Galaxy J5 (2017) has been released so far only in South Korea, and for the Galaxy J7 (2017) — in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In other regions, the system should appear a little later.
