Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 secure smartphone with quantum encryption

Samsung and SK Telecom today unveiled the Galaxy Quantum 2 smartphone, which replaces last year’s Galaxy A Quantum and will be exclusive to South Korea.

What’s Special

Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 is a unique smartphone, the main feature of which is the quantum random number generator (QRNG) chip. At 2.5 x 2.5 mm, it has become the smallest chip in the world. Such a chip generates random codes, registering noise from the LED and CMOS sensor, thereby significantly increasing the reliability of passwords and the level of data protection in a smartphone. This is especially important when working with banking applications and services.
