Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S22 series during the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event next month. Samsung will debut the Samsung Galaxy S22 series on February 8, according to a rumour from Korean publication DDaily.
According to the report, the company will begin accepting pre-orders for the smartphone on February 9.
The report further mentions that the tech behemoth will start delivering the device on February 21 and that the devices will be available for purchase in stores on February 24. SamMobile recently provided a timeline that was almost identical to this one.
According to DDaily Korea, Samsung Korea has provided information on three major Galaxy S22 launch dates. The website claims that Samsung will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8, the same day as Jon Prosser mentioned.
Last month, however, Prosser stated that the date had shifted a day to February 9. Samsung will begin taking pre-orders on February 9, according to the same website, which confirms Prosser’s prediction.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available to the public on February 24.
These dates appear to be official and not the result of DDaily Korea’s speculation. Reportedly, invites for Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event will be sent out in late January.
The same Samsung Korea official also divulged the company’s MWC 2022 plans, according to DDaily Korea.
According to reports, Samsung will emphasize the Galaxy ecosystem at the Barcelona exhibition, for which invites will be sent out on February 21.
For reference, MWC 2022 will take place between February 28 and March 3.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which is expected to debut with the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, is not mentioned by DDaily Korea.
Depending on where you live, the Galaxy S22 series should arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200.
The Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are rumoured to be the three smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
However, the company has not publicly announced any information regarding the devices, and numerous leaks have already disclosed the majority of the information. Here’s all we know about the Samsung Galaxy S22.
