Samsung has registered the Galaxy Z Slide name for a smartphone with a retractable display, Following the Galaxy Z Roll

Recently, Samsung has registered the name Galaxy Z Roll for a smartphone with a stretchable display. And now the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has a new trademark — Galaxy Z Slide.

What is it?

The Galaxy Z Slide is Class 9 and has the same description as the Galaxy Z Roll: “smartphones; mobile phones; tablet computers; telecommunications equipment; electronic pens for smartphones and tablet computers.”

The LetsGoDigital edition showed renderings of a possible device. The “Slide” in the name means that it is a smartphone with a slide-out display. That is, as, with other folding models, the principle of operation is simple: when folded, you get a regular smartphone and pushing out part of the design-a gadget that resembles a tablet in size.

The Galaxy Z Slide is probably similar in design to the Galaxy Z Roll, like the Z Fold and Z Flip. Perhaps the only difference between them is that one has a vertically stretched display, and the other has a horizontal one.
