In January of this year, Samsung announced that it is working with AMD on the Exynos chip. Now the network has some details about the new product.
What is known?
According to the source of The Korea Economic Daily, the processor will be called Exynos 2200. It will be built using Samsung’s 5-nanometer technology and will boast an AMD Radeon graphics accelerator.
Previously, it was assumed that the first Exynos 2200 will be installed in the flagship smartphone, but the source assures that this is not the case. The processor will get the laptop first. It will run on the Windows 10 operating system. If all goes according to plan, it will be shown in the second half of this year. The new product, apparently, will compete with the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with M1 chips.
