Samsung launches 120Hz displays for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13‌ Pro Max

In the past year due to the pandemic line 12 iPhone debuted later than usual, and the model will go on sale at different times due to problems with production. In this year, Apple’s, it seems, has decided to follow the schedule and to eliminate any possible delays.

Displays are already in production

Sources say that in the middle of the month, Samsung started production of displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which will feature senior representatives of the family – iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

According to rumors, ProMotion technology enabling display to have a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz for comparison with the current maximum of 60 Hz, was debut iPhone line 12, but this did not happen. Apparently, Apple decided that 5G support was enough.

At the direction of the company, Samsung began production ahead of schedule – most likely so that this time there would be no problems with the procurement of components . At the same time, LG Display also launched the production of LTPS displays for the younger models of the iPhone 13 family.
