In this year, Samsung will introduce just two foldable smartphone – Galaxy the Z Fold 3 and Galaxy the Z the Flip 2. A new leak from South Korea says that they will debut earlier than expected.
Earlier it was reported that the official announcement should be expected in the second half of the year. It was believed that Samsung will stick to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 release schedule in August or September, but TheElec writes that the presentation will take place in July. Most likely, both models will come out together.
It seems that this is due to the postponement of the premiere schedule of the flagship Galaxy S21 family – recall that the line was presented not in February, as usual, but in mid-January. In addition, most likely, the shift in the schedule was influenced by the absence of the Galaxy Note 21 series this year. As explained in Samsung, there will be no new smartphones due to the lack of microcircuits.
Given the situation with the pandemic, the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 will most likely take place online.
