Sony is preparing for the release of the Xperia Ace 2: A Smartphone with a 5.5-inch display and a MediaTek chip on board

Sony launched the 5-inch Xperia Ace smartphone in 2019, and is currently working on its successor.

What is known?

The device “lit up” in the Google Play Console database with the model number SO-41B and the name Xperia Ace 2. Judging by the leak, it will be a budget device. The smartphone will receive a display with a resolution of 1496×720p, 4 GB of RAM, as well as an eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Out of the box, the new product will install the current version of the Android OS 11.

By the way, in the Google Play Console database, an image of the Xperia Ace 2 also appeared. The device on the front is very similar to the Sony Xperia Compact smartphone, the renderings of which were previously published by OnLeaks insider.

Most likely, it will be the same device. Recall that the novelty is credited with a 5.5-inch screen, an 8-megapixel front camera, a main one with a 13-megapixel main sensor, a side scanner and a USB-C charging port.

It is not known when the Sony Xperia Ace 2 will be released and how much it will cost.
