Finnish wearable electronics manufacturer Suunto has announced its new smartwatch for sports.
What is known?
The gadget was named Suunto 9 Peak. According to the company, it is one of the thinnest (10.6 mm), lightest (52 grams) and durable watches on the market. It comes with a choice of titanium or steel case. It is not afraid of water, so the device can be submerged under water up to 100 meters. Both versions have a round sapphire crystal.
Suunto 9 Peak can track heart rate, altitude, SpO2, sleep, location, and over 80 activities. With normal wearing, the gadget will work up to 14 days. If you actively use GPS, then the autonomy will decrease to 7 days.
Price and when to expect?
Suunto 9 Peak has already started selling in Europe and the USA. For the version with a steel case, they ask for $569, and for the titanium model – $699.
