Tesla on autopilot was involved in an accident: Two were killed

A 2019 Tesla Model flew off the road and crashed into a tree after failing to make a turn at a dead end in north Houston, Texas. Two people who were in the car were killed, and the electric car itself caught fire and burned for several hours. Local authorities are almost certain that no one was driving the car.

How did this happen?

According to information from Western publications, Tesla was moving at a high speed and drove into a dead end, where it was necessary to turn around. But the electric car could not turn around at this speed and flew off the road, crashing into a tree.

As it turned out later, one of the victims was in the front passenger seat, and the second in the back. Now the city services are investigating whether the autopilot or the driver assistance system was turned on.
