Xiaomi, after several months of rumors and leaks, announced the date of the presentation of its first gaming smartphone under the Redmi brand.

So, according to the official teaser on the social network Weibo, the device will be shown at an event in China on April 27. Interestingly, the device will be part of the Redmi K40 line. According to the invitation, the smartphone will be called Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.

It will boast an unusual color scheme, as well as a game mode that will be activated by a switch on the case. It, by the way, will also include a backlight around the triple camera and buttons for games on the side face.

Recall that the characteristics of the device are attributed to the Samsung AMOLED display with a picture refresh rate of 144 Hz and a hole for the front camera, a MediaTek Dimension 1200 processor and a 5000 mAh battery with fast 67-watt charging. The novelty should cost about 300-380 US dollars in China.
