Vivo X70 series is expected to have Zeiss original glass camera lenses, according to the firm.

Vivo has previously announced that the company’s next-generation flagship handsets, the Vivo X70, will be released on September 9th in China. The firm has been teasing major aspects of the gadgets through posters leading up to the launch.

The Vivo X70 series smartphones will be equipped with Zeiss optical lenses, according to a new teaser poster published by the company. According to Vivo’s product manager, the X70 series might be the first phone to feature Zeiss’ original glass lenses.

Last year, Zeiss teamed with Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo to develop the Vivo X60 line of phones. It has now been confirmed that the successor models will feature the same camera technology as the predecessor.

The Vivo X70 series smartphones will be equipped with the company’s self-developed Vivo V1 Image Signal Processor (ISP), which has yet to be officially disclosed but the announcement is expected at the same launch event.

The Vivo X70 and X70 Pro will have a 6.56-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC will power the basic model, while the Exynos 1080 chipset will power the Pro variant.

On the rear, the phone will have a triple-camera system with a 40-megapixel primary camera and two 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel secondary cameras.
The 40-megapixel sensor will be replaced with a 50-megapixel lens in the Pro variant.

A 4,400mAh battery will power both smartphones, which will also enable 44W rapid wired charging technology. The gadgets will be available in three different colours: black, white, and aurora.

The Vivo X70 Pro+, on the other hand, will have a 6.78-inch 2K display with a 120Hz LTP refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, the current flagship chipset, powers it.

This one will include four camera sensors: a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor for the primary sensor, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 sensor for the secondary sensor, a 12-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. A 4,500mAh battery will power it, with compatibility for 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
