Vivo Y55 launched in Taiwan with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 5,000 mAh battery, 50MP triple cameras and more.
This happens only days after the Vivo Y33T was launched in India. A month after the company announced the Vivo Y55s phone with a huge 6,000mAh battery.
The new Vivo Y55 features a waterdrop notch for the front camera, a triple camera setup on the back, a security fingerprint sensor on the side, and a gradient design.
The device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset enabling 5G network connectivity and a battery of 5000mAh with support of 18W fast charging.
Vivo Y55 Specifications
The Vivo Y55 5G is equipped with a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 24081080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 96 percent NTSC color gamut, and a Blue light filter.
5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity features. For selfies and video chats, there’s an 8MP camera on the front.
Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4D gaming Shock Sensation, and Multi-Turbo 5.0, which has a five-fold liquid cooling technology and multi-dimensional heat dissipation.
It comes pre-installed with the Funtouch OS custom skin, which is based on Android 12. It weighs 187 grams and measures 164×75.84× 8.25mm in thickness. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging is included.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y55 sports three rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro device. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
Vivo Y55 Price & Availablity
The Vivo Y55 5G is available in Black and Blue color variants and costs NT$7,990 NTD (about ₹21,560 / $290 USD / €254 EUR).
