Volkswagen last week showed a seven-seat electric crossover ID.6 at an exhibition in Shanghai, and now is preparing for the announcement of another new product.
What is known?
The German automaker has published a teaser of the ID.4 GTX electric car. It will become a “charged” version of the ID crossover.4, which debuted last September. The novelty will receive a red color scheme, front and rear LED optics, as well as combined energy consumption of 19.8 to 18.1 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometers. For comparison, the usual ID. 4 consumed one and a half times less.
If you believe the rumors, the ID. 4 GTX will have less power reserve than the ID.4. At the same time, the car will boast a more powerful electric motor, all-wheel drive, and acceleration to hundreds in 6.2 seconds. For a normal ID. 4, this indicator is 8.5 seconds. More details will be known about the new product during the world premiere, which will take place on April 28.
