The reporter was informed that its Wuhan headquarters base office building in Guanggu Central City is scheduled to be capped at the end of this month and will be stationed at the end of the year.

According to reports, Xiaomi Wuhan headquarters won the Optics Valley Central City site on August 30 last year. On November 25 of the same year, the Wuhan Headquarters Base Building officially started construction.

The building is adjacent to the Administrative Service Center of Donghu High-tech Zone and the new Hubei Science and Technology Museum under construction. It is divided into the main building and the annex building.

The main building is the centralized office area, and the annex building is the company showroom and staff dining area. The entire building is scheduled to complete the main structure cap this month, completed by October, and will be stationed at the end of the year.

According to the relevant person in charge, at present, the core businesses of Xiaomi Wuhan Headquarters include artificial intelligence, big data, cloud platform, IoT, information department, new retail, Xiaomi Finance, and quality e-commerce, all of which are growing and expanding at a high speed.

In the future, the Wuhan headquarters will be planned and built on a scale of 10,000 people and will become the most important and core R&D base of Xiaomi Group, as a powerful engine for Xiaomi’s development.

It is understood that since Xiaomi, Jinshan and Shuncheng’s Wuhan headquarters have been stationed in Guanggu Financial Port in November 2017, the number of employees has grown rapidly from more than 30 to more than 1,000, including more than 600 Xiaomi companies and more than 500 people in Jinshan.
